Success of CSSP Launch - Thank You

We are proud to announce that we had successfully launched our CSSP Project "Pass around the HATs" project with the Singapore Police Force on the 16 Feb 09 in conjunction with Total Defence Day celebration.

This project was launched by our Guest Of Honour Mr Leslie Yong, Chairman of Citizen Consultancy Committee, ASP Tan Boon Heng, Commanding Officer Ang Mo Kio South NPC and Mrs Grace Chua, Principal Deyi Secondary School.

This launch came a long way back in July 2008 when Deyi Sec Sch NPCC Unit was in collaboration with AMK South NPC SSI (2) Yeo, Community Liaision Officer, to discuss about the implementation of this CSSP Project and at the same time recruited our Sec3s to carry out this project as one of the requirements for CSSP Badge. The Launch was in the pipeline then because SPF had allocated funds to launch this project in Deyi Sec Sch as the pilot school and spread out to other schools. And finally, it was successfully launched and definitely all the efforts put in was paid off.

The launch having a handphone standee lighting up once the VIP insert in the last anti handphone theft message. As well as a FDS Performance put up by our very own Sec2 cadets who had put in 150% of effort and time to prepare for this launch immediately after the CCA Orientation performance.

We are proud indeed of the launch to once again bring up the reputation of Deyi Sec Sch NPCC Unit...but are we are even more proud because once again the WHOLE Unit are activated including the HOs, CIs and Instructors and in fact ALL Teacher Officers were also involved...and we worked together like a family. Dear all,

A big thank you to everyone. All of you have always put in your 110% despite your busy schedule. Without your help, the teachers will not be able to manage the unit. Our unit is now well known in 'F' division. I am sure we can expect to have more support from SI Yeo and his team. I am also very proud of this batch of sec 2s. They are very strong mentally and physically. They have brought glory to our unit. With your mentoring, I am sure they will turn out to be great cadet leaders in future.

So far so good in 2009, keep up the good work everyone! When the family is strong and united, success will come naturally. Once again, thank you everyone!

Mr Imran
