Unit Outing was started in year 2008 to reward our Instructors and Cadets for a year of hardwork and create the Unit Bonding through fun activities and games where cadets were brought outside school away from the training environment to have fun. Last year our Unit went to Sentosa.

This year our Unit Outing was organised by the CL committee SGT(NPCC) Alan Lee and SGT(NPCC) Wei Cai under the supervision of CI(NPCC) Jocelyn Sim. We have a trip to Marina Barrage where we have some fun activities and games as well as a tour at the NEWater Plant exhibition. I believed to most of us this is our first time to Marina Barrage and is indeed a pleasant place for a short breather after exams.

After the fun filled games and short activities, we have a picnic at the sheltered area in the squad level to promote squad bonding. Each cadet was told to bring along some food and drinks to share with their squadmates and the instructors the day before went to NTUC to buy $50 worth of food and drinks to give out to their cadets as well. Although it was a short half day event, I believed we had fun and it was a time worth spending chit chatting.

Let's all work hard next year to maintain our Gold and we will be looking forward to more fun filled activities and Unit Outing.
