Completion of Cadet Leader's Course and Camp Dec '09

We are proud to announce the completion of the Cadet Leader's Course and Camp for the batch of incoming Cadet Leaders for the year 10/11.

The CL's Training Course and Camp was brought forward this batch to Dec 09 so as to allow CLs to have more time to understudy their Senior CLs before the SCL stand down in March 2010.

The trainees underwent 4 days of Modular Course where they were equipped with the necessary hard and soft skills as a CL. There were lectures, Drills, Campcraft and other activities to prepare the trainees for their CL-ship. The trainees then had to undergo a 3 days Training Camp where they will put their skills to use and they are assessed on their critical thinking and leadership. The camp aim to foster teamwork and allow the trainees to know each other's strengths and weaknesses.

But we are proud that the 16 trainees who attended both the course and camp pushed themselves really hard to endure through the trainings outside their comfort zone. It was never planned for the Course and Camp to be easy as the Unit wants to train resilience and thinking leaders. The Course and Camp was conducted to expect the highest level of discipline from the trainees.

We are proud to announce the 16 trainees who passed out as Cadet Leaders and eligible for promotion to SGT (NPCC):

1) Chang Guang Wei
2) Chee Guo Zhang
3) Koh Boon Hock
4) Lee Xiong Wei
5) Koh Boon Xiang

11) Neo Chang Wei
12) Tan Beng Beng Jimmy
13) Nicholas Lee Jing Hao
14) Crystal Lee Boon Ni

This is just the beginning of the journey as a CL and there are much more things to learn. It's not the end...
