We are proud that this year CCA Orientation was a BIG success with a recruitment of 35 cadets who expressed interest to join NPCC. In fact there were many more but we could only accept a certain number. In the end, we will only accept cadets who have the willingness to learn and shown the potential to be groomed. We have stringent criteria because we want to maintain the standard of Deyi NPCC.

This year Orientation UG parade was hosted by NPCC and it was an excellent displayed of discipline of UGs on the parade square. The parade was successfully executed and won applause from the Sec1s.

Not forgetting our display performance put up by our Sec2s and Sec4s cadets. The sec2s formed up the Fancy Drills squad and put up an astonishing performance this year which won many praises from fellow Deyians and teachers. And the sec4s with their introductory performance which trying to mirror after the Police Defensive Tactics course of SPF. They have shown the "garangness" of NPCC cadets. Despite the short trainings and preparations, both squads have make the Unit proud and clearly created a very good impression of Deyi NPCC to the Sec1s. The video has been uploaded on Youtube.

Last but not least, the exhibition portion which was prepared by the entire Unit with the help of 19 instructors who stayed overnight to build the watch tower had clearly displayed the team spirit of the Unit as a whole and contributing to the success of Deyi NPCC. The displayed items were well organised and provided an informative insights about NPCC to the Sec1s including the weapons that we used for our drills and campcraft.

A very BIG salute to all the HOs, CIs, Instructors and cadets who put in tremedous effort to ensure that NPCC stands out among other CCAs in Deyi. In fact, we are glad to receive praises from the VP when he was browsing our booth. Nevertheless, Deyi NPCC has never failed to impress others that we are truly a Unit to be proud of and that we ourselves are proud to be in this Unit.
