My Passing- Out Speech: "
A good afternoon to Sirs, Madams, and my fellow cadets. I am Station Inspection Gary Toh, presenting a graduating speech on behalf on my squad. Today is a special occasion, a bitter- sweet one for us, the graduating ones.
Here we are, at this momentous day, marking the end of our service. Years in Deyi NPCC were special, it has indeed moulded us into individuals we are today. These precious experiences, from us as cadets learning the very basic to being Cadet Leaders whom in turn posses the skills and qualities to pass down the knowledge to our juniors. Throughout these experiences, I gain features of character as determination, confidence, commitment, life skills and even more. Special thanks to my squad, for helping and supporting me while going through all these. It is with them that I am able to effectively carry my role as the chairperson to bring the unit to greater heights.
Our trainings and participations were tough, yet we can took each of them as a challenge, an obstacle, one which we can certainly overcome working as a team. Recalling the sense of satisfaction we would achieve each time we grow stronger and bond deeper from the challenges. We have also to remember that these are the efforts of our dedicated OC Unit (Mr. Imran), Teacher Officers( Miss Rashidah, Mr Kelly Tan and Mr Tan Je Wei), Honorary Officers, Cadet Inspectors and even instructors. Some of them are even our mentors, guiding us, pushing us towards progress and success. Here, I am proud and grateful to have them with us all these time giving us the most valuable experiences, skills and knowledge. Thank you!
After our graduation, the unit must and will continue to strive, reaching out to the future and success. Deyi NPCC wants others to honor us and we want to be honored for our own achievements. Bring forth your passion, let the spark of it glow in you and discover your strengths to bring up the Deyi NPCC. Every single one is crucial for the success. Be also team players, be open and responsive, accepting changes and show the willingness to learn. Like a relay race, pass on the baton and make your team win. It is also now where I would pass on my baton and let the excitement be felt by others.
I deeply and sincerely appreciate the opportunities Deyi NPCC gave to me. I’ve used them and succeeded. Keep the feeling of recognition! They are certainly worth remembering. You should also feel pride and inspiration to strive. Future leaders of the unit, gain the recognition and experiences just like we had. Wishing the Unit perseverance and all the best towards success!
Thank you ! "
